Our History / Since 2018

The Never Forgotten Games began in 2018 with a simple mission: to honor the sacrifices of our fallen law enforcement officers and first responders while bringing our community together through fitness, service, and remembrance. What started as a local competition has grown into one of Northern California’s premier functional fitness events, welcoming athletes, volunteers, sponsors, and spectators from across the region.

Each year, the Never Forgotten Games has continued to expand in participation, community support, and impact. Through the dedication of countless volunteers and supporters, the event has become a meaningful tradition that celebrates those who serve while strengthening the bond between first responders and the communities they protect.

Looking Ahead

As the Never Forgotten Games continues to grow, so does the dedicated committee behind it. Our organizing committee is made up of law enforcement officers and civilian volunteers who share a common commitment to honoring fallen first responders and giving back to the community they serve.

The Never Forgotten Games is more than a fitness competition—it’s a community-driven movement built on remembrance, resilience, and service. Funds generated through the event support selected nonprofit organizations, surviving families, first responder wellness initiatives, and local community programs, helping extend the impact of the Games far beyond competition day.

With the continued support of our athletes, sponsors, volunteers, and community partners, the Never Forgotten Games will continue to expand its reach, enhance the athlete and spectator experience, and preserve the legacy of those who made the ultimate sacrifice.
